‘Mahfuz Canvas’ is the self-taught Bangladeshi artist's platform founded by reputed internationally recognized famous Bangladeshi artist Mahfuzur Rahman, who took initiatives, for the Bangladeshi Self-taught artists, to showcase their artworks at the First edition of "Annual Student Art Show" in Dubai, in collaboration with UAE's largest Art group "Funun Arts" at the end of October 2022. This event has the theme of United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Mahfuz Canvas, a platform for the underprivileged self-taught Bangladeshi artists, is gearing up to host a special overseas exhibition that will offer contemporary painters from this country an opportunity to showcase their artworks in Dubai.
Mahfuz Canvas, an organisation founded by renowned international artist Mahfuzur Rahman, is the title sponsor of the event.
The program was segmented into various categories like Panel discussion, live painting, art exhibitions and creating sustainable art walls. This was the best way to bring everyone on one platform. Students, Artists, Environmentalist, Influencers, Dignitaries from various fields, Media and various people from different occupations. We can say Art erases boundaries and bring everyone together.
The exhibition, presented by Mahfuz Canvas and co-sponsored by Moon Calligraphy, is showcasing over 250 paintings, ranging from calligraphies to contemporary artworks.
The founders of Shilpo Bangla, calligraphy artist couple Sultana Mimi and Jamil Ahmed, want to offer a forum for Bangladeshi creative and energetic entrepreneurs.

On World Environment Day and World Ocean Day, Funun Arts Group, Youth Creative Minds Hub along with Novotel world Trade Center organized a 10 days art event.
A group art exhibition titled ‘The Magical Brush: Season 2’ began at Safiuddin Shilpalay in the capital’s Dhanmondi area on Monday, reports UNB.
Captivating artworks made by 105 amateur artists of the country are being exhibition at the show.
The exhibition features a wide variety of artworks, ranging from contemporary paintings to calligraphy and more.
Mahfuz Canvas, the brainchild of Dubai-based Bangladeshi creative impressionist artist, painter, and corporate professional Mahfuzur Rahman, is the exhibition’s title sponsor.
Ekushey Padak-winning actor, director, writer, and painter Afzal Hossain inaugurated the exhibition as the chief guest in the evening.
Now/Never was inaugurated by H.E Laila Rahhal – President & Founder of Business gate in the presence of inspiring personality and Guest of Honor – Dr. Najat Makki – Pioneer Contemporary Emirati Artist and Mr. Abdulaziz Ahmed – CEO Safeer Corporate services along with other invited guests – Fr. Alexandru, Nancy Arora, Surbhi Jariwala, Luzaan Putter, other visitors and artists.
The “Now/ Never” exhibit showcased the groundbreaking work produced by the 12 diverse groups of international artists from locations around the world, including Britain, France, India, Jordan, Lebanon, Iran, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Australia, Romania, and Belgium and among others. Each one of these artists has persisted in their artistic endeavors in order to bring into the world something new and inspirational for us to see, hear, and experience — Gallerist Rachelle, Picasso Gallery Dubai.
His Excellency Suhail Mohd. Al Zarooni was highly impressed by all the work displayed in this art exhibition. He said” Art is the outcome of balance, balance of colors, balance of strokes and balance of imagination. We can experience it in each of the artwork.

Funun Arts are famous for its unique themes and concept of the exhibitions. Funun Arts Group and Novotel World Trade Center presented MIZAN: The Divine Path, a crucial collective art exhibition featuring more than 32 artists of 18 nationalities working with various media such as painting, drawings, and photography. Focusing on their most recent works, the exhibition runs from 20th June to 30th June 2022 and is unveiled in the Novotel World Trade Center.
In a celebration full of warmth, love and cooperation between different nationalities in the homeland of love and tolerance, the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Humaid bin Abdullah Al Mualla, Vice President of the Voluntary Social and Cultural Association Raed Shamisi and Executive Director of the Association Khawla Obaid Salem Bu Samra Al Mahrezi inaugurated the activities of the Ramadan Heritage Festival in Ajman Marina.
The festival included an art competition between 25 male and female artists organized by Yu Gallery Company, a fashion show by the artist Samar Raafat, a market to support small business owners, citizens and expatriates, and some artistic and heritage sections.
International Winter Art Festival 2019 was held at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy from December 28 to December 30. More than 150 artists from all over Bangladesh and twelve other countries participated in the event. Over 350 artworks were displayed in the gallery. On the last day, a competition was held where 18 artists were awarded in six different categories.The International
Artist Mahfuzur Rahman, founder of the Obscure Artist of Bangladesh explained “Our Facebook group has been set up back in October with the intention to provide an organized platform and inspiration to the ‘obscure’ artists of Bangladesh and we called submission from artists all over the country.
The founder of the group Mahfuzur Rgroup,ahman said, “The obscure artists must need spaces and platforms to display their extraordinary creativities, and their endeavors to inspire them to move forward. Now this time we got opportunity to showcase their outstanding art works through ‘Artavita.com’ which is the most famous online Art Place for showcasing the paintings.”

A three-day National Art Exhibition will be held at 'Gallery-27', Dhanmondi No. 26 in the capital on the initiative of 'Obscure Artist of Bangladesh'.
