World Art Dubai - 2022, 8th Edition

World Art Dubai, the region's largest contemporary retail art fair, was held at Dubai world trade center - Dubai World Trade Centre from March 16 to 19, 2022 for its 8th edition. The last three months have been filled with anticipation and excitement to participate in this enormous Event! It is a wonderful honor to be here as a representative of Bangladesh as an artist.

 Mahfuzur Rahman participated in this prominent festival with a group of talented artist organization titled "FUNUN ARTS".  His most iconic starry night themed two painting and one of his own distinguished art form blended impressionism painting titled "Flit of the Sun" was exhibited in this festival.

The "Shurooq Al Fann" art exhibition, which translates to "The Rise of Art," will be inaugurated in Dubai on April 21 in the presence of officials, delegates, and special guests, along with a VIP preview of more than 100 incredible works by UAE-based artists. Traditional Islamic art forms such as calligraphy, calligraphy-inspired illustrations, and sacred geometry are incorporated into the abstract modernist paintings.

The preliminary stages of the RAMADAN ART COMPETITION. Starting on April 10, 2022, in which participants will compete in several categories. An academic jury will evaluate 25 of the submitted works of art. These works of art will proceed to the next level, where they will compete against 50 other works of art in order to select the top three winners. Artworks from the first phase will be on exhibit and for sale in the Marsa Ajman neighborhood throughout the holy month of Ramadan. In Cooperation with Marsa Properties, His Excellency Sheikh Humaid bin Abdullah bin Mullah, the volunteer social and cultural Association in Dubai and the World Federation of Egyptian Entities Abroad, in cooperation with Marsa Properties, was the chief guest at the event.
